ISHARA FOUNDATION is in the process of finishing production of the following educational items:

1) ISL ABC book (for school chidlren)
This pciture book contains the letter A through Z, each illustrated with a photo of the letter in ISL, plus two words starting with that letter, each also illustrated with how the word is signed in ISL. This is ideal for all deaf school children, both those learnign to sign and those learnign to read English.

2) CD of ISL Stories: Stories from Aesop vol. 1
This CD (also available in higher quality DVD) contains 4 of Aesops tails, told dramatically in ISL by Ishara interns. It is ideal for use in the Deaf school classroom, as well as for those learning ISL.
Of the 4 stories, 1 is subtitled in English, and 2 others have accompanying English texts. Also included is a suggestion of activities on how the stories can be used in the English Literacy classromm.
